Reporting directly to the CTO, the successful candidate will design protocol logic and financial primitives on-chain, re-engineer established DeFi patterns into a functional contract-based model, and own the high-performance Rust backend systems. This role involves designing core protocol logic and financial primitives on a permissioned chain, auditing and verifying logical correctness of smart contracts and distributed state transitions, building and owning high-performance backend infrastructure optimised for institutional transaction throughput with robust monitoring and testing, and defining technical roadmaps and standards across the platform. Architectural decision-making is central to this position.
