Founding Solidity Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Founding Solidity Engineer to become the long-term technical owner of their new EVM protocol primitive. The immediate mandate is to prepare the five core smart contracts for top-tier dual audit and mainnet launch. Long term, this role will become the protocol authority across every chain the system expands to, with a roadmap to becoming a Co-Founder. The position involves working on DAG-based state architecture and terminal token resolution, gas-bounded traversal and compounded ratio logic, share-based accounting where balances remain constant through mergers, precision math and value-leakage prevention, Foundry invariant testing and fuzzing, audit preparation and auditor collaboration, and multi-contract protocol architecture from first principles. This is a seed-stage environment with deep technical complexity and significant ownership, best suited to someone who has already built serious protocol infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production Solidity experience
• Shipped contracts managing meaningful real-world value
• Direct participation in formal audits with firms such as Spearbit, Trail of Bits, Dedaub, Halborn, or equivalent
• Deep EVM knowledge including storage layout, calldata, memory, gas optimisation, and assembly
• Strong security mindset with expertise in invariants, adversarial thinking, edge cases, and audit response ownership
• Experience with complex interdependent smart contract systems, not isolated ERC-20/NFT deployments
